Earlier this year, when the Arvada Landmark Theater shut its doors forever, it looked like residents would have to drive down to Lakewood, or up into Westminster, just to see a movie. So it was a pleasant surprise when Harkins revealed that they had purchased the theater, and were going to be doing some renovations to bring it up to par with other cinemas in the area.
Now, banners are hung across the front of the building, letting us know to expect the grand opening this Fall. According the the signage, the theater will now include a full bar inside, as well as “gourmet food.” The Denver Post reports that Harkins has invested $10 million in order to provide Arvada with a state-of-the-art movie-going experience, complete with leather reclining seats.
Fall is only a short way away (less than a month!) so we should be hearing more about the grand opening soon. Check back right here, and we’ll let you know when to expect it!
